How to display your art.

Three reliable ways to place your 4K master on a frame-style television or ambient digital canvas.

USB Flash Drive (The Universal Method)

The most reliable method for displaying high-resolution art on televisions such as the Samsung Frame, Hisense CanvasTV, TCL NXTFRAME, and LG Gallery is via a direct USB connection.

  1. Download: Save the 4K master file directly to your computer.
  2. Transfer: Copy the JPEG file onto a standard USB flash drive. Ensure the drive is formatted to FAT32 or exFAT for maximum system compatibility.
  3. Connect: Insert the USB drive into your television's corresponding port or connection box.
  4. Display: Navigate to your television's native art or gallery application. Select the USB drive as your media source and choose the images you wish to display or save to internal storage.
  5. Crucial Step: Ensure any built-in digital mounts or borders are disabled in your television's settings. Your downloaded artwork is already perfectly proportioned and requires no artificial matting.

Streaming Devices (Screensavers)

If you utilise a streaming device, you can configure your curated collection to act as an ambient screensaver.

Apple TV: Create a new 'Shared Album' in your Apple Photos application containing your downloaded artworks. On your Apple TV, navigate to Settings > General > Screensaver, and select this album as your display source.

Google TV & Chromecast: Upload your master files to a dedicated album in Google Photos. Open the Google Home application on your mobile phone, select your screen, choose Ambient Mode, and select your new album.

Amazon Fire TV: Upload your artworks to the Amazon Photos application. On your Fire TV, navigate to Settings > Display & Sounds > Screensaver, and select your custom collection.

Manufacturer Applications

If you prefer to manage your artwork wirelessly, you can use your television's proprietary mobile application.

Samsung The Frame (SmartThings): Save the downloaded artworks to your mobile phone. Open the SmartThings application, select your television, navigate to 'Art Mode', and upload your photos. Always select the 'No Mat' option to preserve the artwork's intended composition.

Hisense CanvasTV (VIDAA): Save the files to your mobile device, open the Hisense art mode application, connect to your screen, and send the selected files directly to the television's internal storage.

LG Gallery (ThinQ / LG Gallery+): Ensure you are signed into your LG account on both your television and mobile device. Upload the images via the application and sync them to your custom photo compilation.
